Jimmy Garoppolo tossed for 235 yards and a TD, San Francisco ran for three additional scores and the 49ers won for the fifth time in six games, beating the Atlanta Falcons 31-13 on Sunday.
The Niners (8-6) scored scores on four straight drives to make simple work of the Falcons (6-8) to stay in trump card position as the 6th spot group in the NFC.
Atlanta got halted at the objective line on its first ownership of the game and lost a bungle on a strip sack by Nick Bosa on the initial drive of the last part.

Ryan tossed for 236 yards with a 20-yard TD to Russell Gage in the main half, however was under constant strain the vast majority of the game.
The Falcons battled close to the objective line, running 13 plays from the 10-yard line or closer without scoring a TD, tied for the second-most plays that near the end zone without a score starting around 1991.
Bosa’s sack was his fifteenth of the period and gave him sacks in six straight games, the longest for a 49ers player since Aldon Smith did it in seven straight games in 2012.

The Niners got off to a harsh beginning when JaMycal Hasty bungled the initial kick to give Atlanta the ball at the 12.
Yet, the Falcons couldn’t underwrite in the wake of getting a first-and-objective at the 1 with Cordarrelle Patterson getting halted on two conveys and Ryan tossing a couple of deficiencies.
Later Atlanta scored a field objective on its subsequent drive, Hasty bobbled another opening shot, losing it too far out at the 9.

49ers: S Talanoa Hufanga (knee) left in the main half and didn’t return. … Bosa left momentarily with a head injury yet was cleared to return.
